Healthy Foundation
When it comes to home manicures, getting the foundation right is key to healthy, gorgeous nails and boosting your confidence. We’re not experts (see a professional for that!), but like they say, the proof is in the pudding! Take a peek at your natural nails –what do you think? If you’re not 80% confident in their health and appearance...
Take your nails on a M.O.T, check for:
- Ridges
- Hangnails
- Dryness
- Uneven cuticles.
If any of the above, gently use a:
- Nail Buffer to 'buff' out ridges.
- Nail Scissors to trim hangnails
- Moisturiser to target dryness.
- Wooden Cuticle Stick to push cuticles back.
*Uneven nails are ofc optional. If you would prefer they're the same length, use a nail clipper to clip to desired length and then file (in one direction) to shape and smooth edges.

Seasonal Tips
Our brand owner loves painting her nails anytime, anywhere—indoors or outdoors! But she’s always careful about keeping her polish in top shape.
The key to this: Always store and apply nail polish in a cool, dry place. This preserves the quality of both the product and manicure.
See below effects of nail polish exposed to extreme heat or cold temperatures -
Extreme Heat: Slower drying, smudging, bubbling, and quicker chipping.
Extreme Cold: Thickening polish, longer drying time, and cracking.
*Pro-tip: Taking nail polish on vacation in hot weather? Store it in a cool, dry place in your suitcase and apply it somewhere cool (with a fan if you can) to keep it in top condition.
Fun fact: MMN Gel-like Nail Polish lasts 24 months once opened.

Nail Polish Application
Applying MMN Nail Polish?
For best results:
- Lightly apply chosen Base Coat
- Apply first Coat of nail polish
- Lightly swipe each nail tip with Nail Polish
- Then Apply second Coat of nail polish.
- Apply chosen Top Coat to finish.
*Note: Lighter nail polish colours are more translucent and less pigmented, so they require multiple coats for full coverage and an even, opaque finish. We notice this when applying our gorgeous Wild Meadows and I'm taking the limelight nail polishes.

Daily Maintenance
Taking it easy on your nails goes a long way!
- Reapplying a top coat regularly helps keep your mani fresh, whether you’re wetting your nails or not.
- Don't forget to wear gloves when washing or tidying up to protect your nails from damage.
*Pro tip: Expose your hands to water at least an hour after a manicure, to help the polish dry through.
For issues like hangnails, broken nails, uneven edges, or yellowing, a little TLC goes a long way -
- Cuticle oil is a game-changer for hydration (and lots more).
- Hand cream and hand moisturiser are perfect for keeping your skin soft and smooth.
*Pro-note: Hand cream is thicker for your hands, while hand moisturizer is more lightweight for all-over use.
